About the Otters
Welcome to the Seattle Otters Water Polo.
Since 1990, when the Seattle Otters were formed as a Women's team to compete in the Gay Games , the team has gone through many transformations and team line-ups. The Otters have been to the home to many fine players, coaches and referees.
What has stayed consistent is the members' love for the game and desire to promote water polo throughout the Puget Sound Region. The Otters are the only regional team to maintain a consistent practice schedule throughout the year. Meeting twice a week at Garfield High School, time is split between swimming, skill training, and scrimmages. Anyone is welcome to attend on a drop-in basis. We also can be found at multiple tournaments around the Northwest throughout the year to keep everyone busy.
